That is a pretty scary statement. Let’s say it is off by 100%. That means only 92% of the people think their cloud security sucks. Maybe the number is off by 500% – which is pretty unlikely. That means only 80% think they don’t have enough cloud security.
Not only are they worried about securing their cloud data, they don’t even know where their data is.
More than 25% are not tracking REGULATED data, never mind other sensitive data like financial data or corporate intellectual property. A third aren’t tracking confidential data. 45% aren’t tracking the rest of their data.
China and Russia, among others, say thank you.
79% have moderate to high levels of concern around the proliferation of internal business data.
But they don’t even how to approach fixing the problem.
Here are a couple of questions:
- Do you know WHERE your cloud data assets are?
- Do you know WHO has access to your cloud data?
- Would you know if your cloud data was leaked to the dark web?
